Due to recent changes in U.S. import policy, a 10% base tariff now applies to most UK-origin goods — including our premium drysuits.

Here’s what that means for a Seaskin Nova with some optional extras costing £720

Drysuit Cost: £750 (you pay this at checkout)
Shipping: £70 (you pay this at checkout)
Total Declared Customs Value: £820

General Duty Rate: 0% For HTS Code*: 4015.90.9010 Diving Drysuits-Vulcanized Rubber

New U.S. Tariff for Goods of UK origin (10%): £82
Estimated State Sales Tax: 8–10% (varies by US State)

Your total typical cost may include:

  • Tariff: £82 (this is collected by UPS when the suit arrives in the US and passed on to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
  • Sales Tax: £65–£80 (this is collected by UPS and passed on to your State’s tax authority)
  • Courier Fees:  UPS charge customs handling, roughly 2% of duty+tax, or a minimum of $14)
  • So the final estimate cost of the suit delivered to you is roughly £982 approximately $1,300 (depending on exact exchange rates at the time) when shipping and taxes are paid

We know all this adds up but we thought that this information is important to communicate. Please note it is the U.S. Customs that controls this process at the request of the U.S. Government.

Thanks for supporting UK-made gear. We’re proud to keep you dry and warm.
